Well guess who the new Club Operations Director is.......................our very own Mr Molyneaux. Who would have thought. [

Obviously those that know Martyn will appreciate what a great benefit he will be to the Club as a whole. He has a very difficult time ahead of him and will certainly need our support.
I don't know if we should congratulate or commiserate with Martyn in his appointment. I think, this evening, he might be a little weary. He hasn't exactly enjoyed a honeymoon period in his new appointment and it was down to work straight after the AGM this afternoon. This was all on top of keeping several of us entertained in the bar until 4:00am this morning.
From an entirely selfish regional point of view I am quite sad. Now Martyn's efforts will have to be focused on the whole Club, and not on us exclusively, I am sure things at R11 are going to be a bit different.
We owe Martyn a great deal for what he has done at R11 and I am sure he will now welcome our support and assistance in return, especially during this difficult time with the Clubs transition to a new Board.
The Club can be a mine field of politics and hidden agendas. Martyn has never become embroiled in such nonsence and I very much hope his time on the Board will in no way spoil his enthusiasm for his car and the friendships we have all enjoyed as a result of his events.
