does anyone have one of these fitted? the 2 rear stays seem to bolt to the rear seat belt mount points, the 2 front stays seem to bolt to the sills just behind the door opening.
? are the mounting plates already built into the sills under the carpet?
? what does ' mit SSA' mean ( on the cage label / front feet ) ?
TIA

Having a Heigo light alloy half cage fitted by GT 0ne Chertsey shortly, the fixing points you describe seem right but don' t think the plates are there, apparently may involve taking out the oil tank..........................

The cage was a special order for a race prepared Turbo that is no more, the cage is perfect withstood the crash..........so I am buying secondhand.....new cost was around £700 it appeals to me as it is very light only about 3-4Kg, buying it for about half cost. I have been quoted about £200ish for installation. I think the car will look good with the cage as well as offer some protection......I only do a few track days nothing too serious!............a full cage would be the safest option........but half is better than none............
