May Club Night - Wine Tasting

As suggested last month we have organised a wine tasting evening at the next meeting on Wednesday 6th May.

We have around 15 people to taking part so far. We can accommodate more but would like to know if you if you're planning to join us by Monday 4th please (either by e-mail or by posting on this thread) as we might need to order more wine!

Cost is £5 per head and we will start around 8 pm. Drivers can always spit out the tasters so they don't consume too much!

Suggested format for the evening is:

How to taste

Characteristics of each wine as we taste

3 x white / 3 x red / 2 x blind taste

Question / Answer session & prize for blind taste

Approx 8pm - 9.30pm.[/blockquote]

There will be an opportunity to buy the wines at the end of the evening.

Hi Ian & Sharon, can't make Wednesday as we will be on the ward with Michael.
He has really improved today after a poor day yesterday, surgeon says that kidney is functioning better than normal so fingers crossed.

It was great seeing you all after such a long time. I thought the Barhouse presentation of wines was really well put together, Steve needs congratulating for it. I do not know when I will attend again so havegood summer using your Porsches.
