May meeting. Wednesday 13th May 2009

Unfortunately couldn't make the last meeting; few last minute things to sort out ..... like going to Silverstone for controlled driving!.....fantastic. All being well, will see you folks this Wednesday ;)

I'm a new member nd live in Abergele. Unfortunately I probably wont make it to the next meeting due to other arrangements.

Paul, re the Silverstone experience, do you do it in your own car? As a result of buying 2 cars in the last year I actually have 2 invitations to attend the Silverstone experience!

Hi Nick,
You can drive your own car or one of theirs. The choice is yours. I preferred to drive my own, as I wanted to experience the handling of mine under safe controlled conditions. Plus you can appreciate much better the handling characteristic of your own car rather than one you might borrow for an hour or so! Although if the opportunity came up for a free test drive i'd jump at the chance. Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Silverstone. I'm sure you will too, what ever car you drive.
