Strange - it was in the last issue of Porsche Post as confirmed by Sophia yet when I spoke to Derek Caves in April about it he wasn't aware either.

I wonder how many other 993 owners think it's an official Register visit.....

I was asked to put a few words in PP a couple of issues ago about using this Suday's open day as an opportunity for a 993 photo shoot, which I did.
Unfortunately I can't make it but I hope the weather holds for all of you that will be going
Derek

Two 993'3 planning to come from Essex. Just hoping that the weather will improve a little.

They were the two Essex boys. We enjoyed the visit to Cornbury House very much. Thanks are due to those who give their time to open the club and make people so welcome.

Talked to a many owners, looked at a lot of cars and had some good advice. A most enjoyable day. Also the weather was good, there were no hold ups on the M25 so even the drive there and back was fun. Lets have some more 993 specific gatherings.

Sorry we just missed you Maurice.

Excellent day out at Cornbury House last Sunday, drove down from Essex in tandem with Mike Taverner 99C4S and my 993C2TipS.Met several members to chat all things Porsche.Suggest an official 993 meet would be well attended.

For the 993 guys that turned up last Sunday - thanks. Through the day we must have seen some 30 cars, including a couple of RS's. It was nice to see the lineup in the car park.
