The Red Lion, Caythorpe on Wednesday 14th May.

Those of you who were at the Bentley meeting on 16th March will have realised that May is a busy month for R4. Not withstanding that, a pub visit has been arranged to the Red Lion at Caythorpe.

Caythorpe is on the A607 Lincoln to Grantham road, approx 4 miles South of Leadenham which is on the A17, A607 crossing.

The Red Lion is one of Licolnshire Pride's favourite eating pubs in winter because of the beams and open fires and it's not too bad in the spring either. There is hand pumped real ale available. At present it's Adnams Sole Bay Bitter and Everards Tiger Bitter. Together with the normal menu there is an "Early Bird" menu available with 2 courses at £12.95 and 3 courses at £14.95 served between 6 and 7.00 pm.

John Cork, the landlord has offered to manage the car park for us if he has some idea of the numbers likely to turn up. So please let me know if you intend to come either by responding on the forum or contacting me on keith.helliwell@btinternet.com.

By having an idea on numbers, John will also be able to sort out room for us

See you all soon [:D]

All, A reminder about May's Pub Drive out now that it has disappeared from the 30 day window on the forum (I'm hoping that this message will bring it back) Keith '96 993 Targa in Polar Silver.

All, To date there are 18 names booked in either by this forum, e mails to me or e mails to Richard. I have told John Cork at the Red Lion that I will give him the final numbers by Tuesday evening and he is quite happy about that. Would those who have verbally said they are coming please confirm their intentions by then please. It's looking like a reasonable turn out.[:D] Regards Keith '96 993 Targa in Polar Silver
