McGard Wheel Bolts?

Planning to replace the very tatty wheel bolts on my 2003 MY C4. Not just aesthetics but the seating rings are corroded and pitted too.

Design 911 have a complete set of 16 x bolts and 4 x locking bolts made by McGard. They certainly look much better than the original and appear more durable.

Anyone have any experience of McGard wheel bolts or any comments to offer?

Hi - How much for this pack? Mine are a bit worse for wear.

Had McGuards on my Aston, no problem whatsoever, well made stuff and didnt corrode in the time I had the car.

If they are good value I will probably buy some with you - please send a link

Thanks for your reply....if they're good enough for an Aston, they should cut the mustard on a Porsche.

Full cost is £166.79 including VAT and delivery.

I've taken the plunge and ordered a set, although I think I might wait until the spring to put them on.

I have had McGuards on both my 911s for a few years - look nearly as good now as the day I bought them.

Thanks Dave, that's reassuring to know.

By the way, did you put Optimoly TA on the threads? Porche handbook says to, but McGard say use them dry.

No, dry - but not because I know that is the most appropriate.
