Meet on New Years Day?

Steve asked me to include this in the region 10 newsletter so I thought I'd put it in the forum as well <Andy>

Looking for something a little bit different to do on new years day? Well why not head out to the Old Thatched Inn Adstock, where there is a very pleasant & informal meeting of the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) - you don't need to be a member to attend. From around 10:30am, the village will be awash with old and potentially rare cars, all turning up to admire the vehicles, socialise and just enjoy the time with old friends. As well as the cars, the pub serves a decent lunch and there will be a stall selling hot mulled wine, mince pies - all the things you need to drive out the winter weather !

We do hope you can make it along to see the event and as mentioned, it is informal so, wrap up warm, bring along your camera, and we look forward to seeing you there anytime from 11:00am

All the best

Steve and Michele

Sounds good. What is the parking like ? Or should I come in something that I'm less bothered about damage to ?

You'll struggle to park in the village...but no worries, the walk is not far. It's a great event so look forward to seeing you there.

Excellent Event... and yet again, the region turned out in good numbers. Perhaps those who took pictures digitally might post a few to communicate the event ??

Nice to see so many smiling faces on New Yrs day, and enjoyed chatting about oil, petrol and castrol R
