Having come from a very active Audi community, im sure that everyone is a passionate, but just need some contiunity
to proceedings. Our famous Windsor meet was started with just 4 people , and in the summer after 2 years we had 50+ cars attend.
Im sure with the motorway structure that surrounds the midlands as a whole, it will be easy to achieve good results in time.
New years day is an interesting one, some people just dont do new year, after years of doing new year this year we have decided not to
bother, so im quite up for a run if anyone is.
Cheers

I also think that the idea of a monthly blast is a good one but lets confine the threads to people who can come not ones who can't. I know from bitter experience on Pistonheads that the last Dawn Raid in the Peaks ran for pages but consisted mainly of people who need a social secretary or to get a life.
The idea of a set date is sound as well as it means that you can plan and don't have to keep trying to find a mutually acceptable date
New Years Day - let it be dry!

For those interested there is an event organised by a friend of mine every second Tuesday of the month with an hours drive and dining experience at the end. Regular attendance is between 6-10 cars but a few less in the winter.
It can be done and I will gladly participate and join in (in my Porsche!!)with as much as I can.
