melting bumper

Hi everyone, after giving my car a thorough clean yesterday i noticed the passenger side rubber square on the front of the bumper had melted around the top. Its not bad, but its like it's been rounded off on one side though. Has this happened to anyone else? i will try and find a picture to show you in more detail.
 
Hmmm
I would say that no one here has a good explanation as to why the bumper rubber is melting apart from:

1. your car is just hot, full stop.
or
2. you are parking it too close to the radiator in your front room.
