Members Only Forum?

Hi Gary/Robert

Has the 997 forum now closed to non-members? [:-] (I need to log now to view it)

If so, I think it is a shame, as being for the current model it is a good source of info for people thinking of a first time Porsche...at least it was for me back in 2006... [&o]

I guess the separate 997 Club Members Only Section is now redundant?

If so, then I echo those sentiments.

You will probably see that it just needs you to be registrated with the forum (which is free) and does not require club membership...

Rob, I've not been made aware of any changes to our forum, we still have the normal area (here) and the members only area which is used for club offers and other club activities.

I did notice however that people recently had been logging in as guest and able to post (see the Scotland area) this looks to have been corrected.
As long as you have registered to the forum and log in (no cost) you should be able to freely view and post within here, in fact I welcome those posts for a balanced and open view for everyone.

Like yourselves, I wish it to stay that way in order to welcome those interested in the club and the Porsche 997.
There we're talks of this changing( as there has been for a long time), however I'd hope that we would be informed prior to it happening.

Thanks for the explanation Gary

I did not realise you can register for free..[:)]

Mark, Gary FYI

Last few times I have gone onto the forum I have had to login as myself, the Guest id has not been allowed to see the basic 997 page. So something does seemed to have changed.
