From the Register mailbox: Any advice for Ian on where to get his Turbo some quality care?

Some months ago I acquired a 1981 924turbo and joined the Porsche Club GB. I have a couple of problems but being new to this I'm not sure whether this is the sort of thing you can help with. The 924 appears to have an oil leak that I need to attend to and I need to find a small enthusiasts garage somewhere within reach of NE Hampshire (Alton, Basingstoke, Winchester area). Any advice would be gratefully received.
I also need to find out how to trace a paint code for 1981 Zermatt Silver since the paint code plate is (suspiciously) missing. Any clues?

With best wishes,
Ian

Try GT-One at Chertsey. They used to happily deal with my 944s.

Automotive Paint Supplies, 151 Ash Road, Aldershot, Hants Tel. 01252 313142 are very helpful, they put a sensor on the front wing which gives a paint code readout. A litre of Meteor Grey Metalic for 3.2 was less than £60 two years ago.
