Hi,

I have recently renewed my memberships but bar the glossy mag I have no idea what else I get. Is there a link as I think I get 10pct discount on certain things?

thanks

It is upto the Porsche Centre whether they give a discount on parts, labour, both or neither.

PorscheFile lists a number of organisations that offer benefits.

I would say look at the list on the club web site (http://www.porscheclubgb.com/) but it's down at the moment (again).

Trackdays, regional and register meetings, access to all areas of the forum. Check out the list on the main 996 forum page for OPC's who offer not only 10% off parts, but extra discounts for "older" cars. There is also the BOGOF deal on Silverstone Classic tickets (if you haven't been, you've missed a treat). There are lots of benefits - it's just not obvious what they are at times.

Thanks for replies. Does anyone know how much a full service is at OPC , the one with the spark plugs? I believe normal major service one is 532 approx so with discount will be under 500, my indy charged 500 also but he said he will do spark plugs free of charge. Just trying to work out what's cheaper

cheers

Thanks I know about 10 pct discount at OPC as I get it at Bournemouth OPC. I am having new tyres fitted Saturday though and was wondering if anybody gives 10 pct of these too.

Porschefile lists hundreds of companies who give discounts. Most obvious tyre ones, only had a quick look, blackcircles.com, elitegarages.co.uk and north east tyres and exhausts 0500 223111.

Dunno!

index in Porschefile lists www.elitedirect.com and www.elitegarages.co.uk as "specialist suplliers, wheels and tyres."

Suggest giving them a call or looking at their websites.

Elite had them up for 164 on their site but when you call they are 177, so site is rubbish. I am staying with event booked in for Saturday being done at home as they come to you.

Just clarifying - Elite Direct and Elite Garages are not the same company...

Elite Garages are based at Mannings Heath near Horsham.
