Memory Seats using Key Fob

Does anyone know how to set up the key fob so that once it is pressed to unlock it moves the seats and mirrors in line with memory position one.

I think its possible but wanted to know how to do it.

I want to be able to use my key for memeory one, and the spare key for the wife on memory 2.

Thanks

If you're using Key 1 for your setting, you need to first unlock the car with the zapper with that fob. Adjust the seat to your preferred position, then press the 'M' button and the button with the key on it.

Lock the car with your Key 1 fob, then open the car with the Key 2 fob. Adjust the seat to the wife's preferred position, then press 'M' and the key button. Lock the car...job done. When you open it with Key 1 it will move to your setting and when you open it with Key 2 it will move to her setting.

Hi t1x,

You should also be able to set mirrors to suit both memory positions & if you put car in reverse gear (with ignition on) it will also operate n/s wing mirror to turn downwards to view kerbside whilst reversing.....

Cheers Paul,

I have done that one, but have noticed and sometimes I have to set it up again as it stops working.
Do you know why this would happen?

To be honest, never got on with n/s mirror pointing down at kerb so opted to cancel it out.

I have some paperwork somewhere with instructions that i got from a link on another site, will dig it out at the weekend & send it to you via PM or email

Mine does that too Tiku. Sometimes I press memory 2 and it doesn't move from memory 1 which is different. It's like it forgets the memory position. Do you think my car is getting old and forgetting things? :)
