Merry Christmas all.

Happy Xmas, Boxing Day, New Year and Channukah to everyone.

Just thought that I should pass on my lucky tip for today.

Whatever you do, as I did, do not decide that a cool morning like earlier today is the best time to wash the winter dirt away and then shampoo the car and hose it down. Such an activity almost guarantees rain or sleet - like now!!

Otherwise have a great break.

I know what you mean juliany27 . The last time I waxed my car, it started raining while I was still polishing away the last wax traces... like magic. [:(]

Merry Christmas and a Great New Year from Down Under

Its V. hot and not a lot like Christmas but a wonderful novelty, especially seeing the snow on the ground back home on Sky News tonight

We both have a great tan as have spent a lot of time lolling around a pool or sea, not forgetting the tons of seafood and steak consumed. Its a very pleasant lifestyle, everthing geared to enjoying yourself, the roads are very good with nearly all drivers sticking exactly to the speed limits so different to home.

Not seen a lot of P cars over here, but several older examples, 996 cabs, Boxsters and Cayennes, including a Turbo.

Makes us miss our babes, shivering in their garages, hope they are OK

yes it is great here, actually no fires allowed on the beach so no barbies, actually a fire ban many places.

Our Christmas day lunch was at an Asian fusion restaurant as we hadn't booked one of the others in time. We have booked NY Eve here at Byron Bay, so look forward to a great celebration
