See you there! (I might be late - I' m watching Top Gear being filmed, and it does not finish until 19:00)

I will be going along early to get a set of 165s fitted and an alignment job done on the 12. A friend who lives locally will be bringing his ex-RAC Rally 1970 911ST along. Well worth a look.

I' ve added some more information on this event in the 1st post (so that it is all in one place).

Expected to be a good turnout so it should be interesting!

Nick

Do you know who drove the car in 1970?

The reason I ask is that I shared a car with Bjorn Waldegaard on Sunday and I know he drove a 911S in 1969 and 1970.

I' m facinated by coincidences[:)]

and Lucy the Labrador shows little interest in either the Elite Tyres boss' s 996 Turbo or a fanatastic Maseratit 28T (straight 8 supercharged)

Looks like a good time was had by all Nick.

A big thank you to Richard and the crew at Elite for organising the day and to Michelin for being in the firing line!

As I didn' t make it due to being stuck at work did any one ask the all important question...." correct tyre pressures for a track 993 running PSC with Nitrogen fill?" - answers on a postcode!

Yes the answer was given without the question being posed. If you are running road tyres a good point to start at is the standard pressures when the tyres are hot.
