Our September monthly meeting (Tuesday 29th) sees a presentation by racing driver Mike Wilds, who drove BRM and Ensign F1 cars in the 1970's, has won 12 British Championships, a Group C2 Team World Championship and has competed in eleven 24 Hour Races, including the Le Mans 24 Hour Race seven times. He now provides tuition for manufacturers including Porsche, BMW, Jaguar and Mercedes Benz and also competes in the European Endurance 'Britcar' Championship. www.mikewilds.com.

Unfortunately it looks like the Whittington will be closed for refurbishment, we will confirm new meeting venue next week ( first week in September )

Hopefully we will have an excellent turn out for Mike, and it would be good to have some idea of numbers, could you add your name or let me or Phil know if you will be coming.

New Venue for the meeting is The Talbot, Chaddesley Corbett, full address below.

Great night, Mike gave an excellent talk, full of nostalgia, but at the same time bringing it bang up to date with many interesting stories all delivered with an abundance of passion and enthusiasm.
The icing on the cake was the amount of members who came along to make the night extra special (39).
Thanks to you all
