Million Mile Porsche

There is a truly heart warming story in latest Christophorus 365 about Guy Newamrk and his 356 C 'Blu' and their lives together since 1968, still going strong after nearly a million miles!
Certainly living in California has helped to maintain the condition, but with an engine rebuild every 300,000 miles he has proved Porsche's longevity.


 
Should I complain to Porsche ? My 1973 911S had its first engine rebuild at 238000 miles in 2009 after 37 years of hard use. Incidentally the odometers then only show 5 digits and a tenth so anything over 100000 has to be recorded elsewhere.
