Minor Paintwork Repairs

Hi folks! Some help please.....My 3-year old Boxster S (Arctic Silver) has acquired a few minor knocks and scuffs. I've bodged touch-in repairs, but they annoy me whenever I look at them! Our nearest and dearest(!!) OPC have given me a truly mind-boggling quote to sort out the blemishes. I've seen a lot on the various forums about "Chipsaway" but not in our area. Does anyone have any good experience of a local outfit that is competant and charges a fair price? Thanks in advance.

I seem to remember a chip man at one of the club meets a few months ago(was also offering discounts) - Give Darrel or Bev a nudge!!!!

I think it was Jason from Chipsaway - he never called me back to do my chips, even after I phoned him to remind him [&o][&o]

Thanks for your replies, which actually don't get me much further forward! It's rather half a step forward and a whole step back!
What did you do to solve your problem Andrew? After the eye-watering quote from "you-know-who"......I suppose they have their new facility to pay for!.....I'm thinking of going to a friendly local Italian!

in a word nothing - the guy from chipsaway intimated that he could improve the original repair which I had done by another Chipsaway franchise - I said ok, he took my details and as I say despite a tel. reminder from me, nothing came of it.
From what R24 members were saying at the meeting I attended he does do a good job so if you can get him to come out, go for it
Andrew
