Missing bolt on canvas roof push arm

Hi again, another one about my wife's Boxster. Since buying her car several month's ago, we've noticed the roof doesn't close squarely onto the windscreen top. I have now noticed the reason - there is a bolt missing on the left side where the push arm connects to the roof mechanism, therefore only the right side is being pushed/pulled. This is not an ordinary bolt but has a rounded end where the push-arm has a round spigot which clips on. I have tried an ordinary bolt but (obviously) keeps slipping off. Does anyone know where I can get one of these bolts/what is the part number etc. I don't want to take the car back to where we got it as it will cost more in fuel compared to price of bolt. Also (when) I get the bolt, how do you fit it as my hands will not fit into the narrow gap (I had a helluva job fitting the bolt I have on now, and I have small hands!). Thanks again

Do you mean part #8 (See pic) ?

If so part number is: 986 561 689 00

Priced at 7.99 minus PCGB discount + VAT

No, it's on the other end of the arm and connects to the hood.
I have a photo of the part from my parts manual ce but unable to upload to this page as system says too large. John

No, alas, I still can't get photo to show up within text but at least the link works.
I've taken a photo of my laptop showing the push-arm which connects to the bolt on the roof fitting. This is off the cd manual but unable to copy page as is read/print only document. Hope that helps. John

So you want the nut on the plastic frame then (The one the arrow is pointing at in your photo) ?

Edit: If it is it's 33 and 36 on the original part diagram I posted namely:

33: Ball Pin - 986 561 879 00
36: Nut - 011 118 11

Cost: 4.55 and 1.64 +VAT

That looks like it. What's the best way to fit it as nearly impossible to put both hands down between the gap in order to reach location. Is there any way of removing part of the hood framework to gain access. No matter which position you put the hood you can only just squeeze a hand into the gap. Thanks again . John

Have you ever put your roof up like this ? (note the clamshell has also been removed but you may be able to get access with it in place)

Tried this in a similar position but will persevere. Thanx again

Found the ballpin at Design911 but not the nut (they charge £5.95 delivery!!!)
Do you think I can get these over the counter at JCT600?
