missing turbo

Hi I tried this question in the general discussion area the other day and got no response so I thought I try in the turbo list.
problem is :- Car starts fine hot or cold, when cold runs quite smooth I think there is just a VERY slight miss (but pos not) as it warms up miss develops still drives ok just a little down on power (as you'd expect).
I 've swapped the leads , changed the fuel filter and rear pump, dissy cap and rotor arm look good and not very old (I've only had the car for about 6k miles)I've ordered new plugs should be in today. Some one has suggested perhaps the warm up regulator but they say I need gauges to check this is there a way of doing a test without the gauges?
Pleaes help has anyone got any ideas?c os its driving me wild!!!!!!!
by the way its a 1987 3.3turbo with 100 k on the clock [:(][:(][:(]

Take it to someone who is familiar with 930's, as it can cost a fortune to try and sort by a process of elimination by replacement!
Theoretically, if it was the warm up regulator, everything would be fine once the engine was hot....likewise if it was the cold start mechanism, except that then it would be extremely difficult to restart once hot.
Take a look at "101 projects for your Porsche" (copies available from Club Shop); there's a good section on fuel system fault diagnosis.
