Mistaken Order

Hi, I was due to pick up my new S on Saturday until I got a call at lunchtime to advise me that there had been an error in my order and the car had a full instead of partial leather interior - additional cost £917 but willing to make an offer. I've had a look on the configerator and cannot apart from a few bits of fancy stitching see anything that remotely values this or would make me want this option no matter the price. Any feedback appreciated on Porches "generosity" in these instances - I think I know the answer. I may just wait for the next build date offered which is June.

"Ooops we made an error - don't worry about it sir, it's on us" would be the offer I would expect!

Is it really so short a time to build now? Can't be a good policy... [&:]

I ordered this car in January, the June is a spare slot!....Boxster sales have halved since Cayman introduced.
I've given three options 1 they get inventive on trade in and discount and we go ahead as agreed, two we go for June, I'm not happy and they have a car to sit on their forecourt, three I cancel as they have not delivered and have made a number of errors going through the sales process - looking favourite at the moment. I'm awaiting a call.....

Got the little honey home and safely in the garage, just need some nice weather now, felt sad to see the old one go but this feels so much tighter, must get a few miles on it this weekend.
