Misted up driving lamps

Hi

My brother has just purchased a 997 C2 and the left hand driving light / indicator unit is misting up. The Porsche Centre that he bought it from are saying that its normal, I find that very difficult to believe, especially as the right hand unit is crystal clear.

Are these units prone to misting up?

ok, so they are prone to misting up, is this due to a faulty part or just a "Characteristic"

I think its just what they do in our cold and damp climate. The condensation is on the plastic covers and not the lamp units themselves?
