Mobil Synt S vs Mobil 1

I think the blurb there is very similar to that of normal Mobil 1 when it came out []
The synt is the long life stuff I think that new Porsches use to ensure the long oil change intervals are safe
Presumably the main difference between the two would be resistance to breaking down over time
If you are using the normal 993 oil change intervals the Synt would not probably not give any real advantage
(all supposition and guesswork - no real knowledge about it, but hey this is the Internet [])
