Went along to Glasgow Green to see the start of the 2013 Rallye Monte Carlo Historique and Heritage Run .
There where 9 cars actually taking part going hopefully all the way to MC .
A couple of Porsches taking part a 924 no 248 driven by Rich Pearson and Stewart Pringle saw this car at last years event leaving from Clydebank also a 911 3.0 Carrera no 264 by father and son Jean -Piere Perreton and Thibault
Also taking part was a Datzun240Z .Skoda130RS .Holden48/215 .Gm Commodore. Volvo Lancia Fulvia 1.3s And not forgetting a Saab 96V4 i especially like this as i used to own 2 way back in the 60s.
As well as the main cars there were club cars about 90 doing a run to Luss and in the field where several Porsches one owned by members Donald McDonald and his wife Tricia. I also spotted the stunning 912 owned by Paul Farrell dealer principal at the local Porsche centre in Glasgow. There where a few others but the owners are not known to me .Hope they all enjoyed the day as the public turned out in there 10000s to see the cars a great advert for Glasgow and the forth coming Commonwealth games.
