15th Feb monthly meeting is a "New Members Night". at our usual venue of Garstang Golf & Country Club. This is an opportuntty for new and existing members, who have not been to a monthly meeting before, to come along and meet other R18 members and find out what events we have been up to in the last year and what we have planned for 2006. The latest 2006 Events calendars will be available

Stuart Cookson-Smith will also be giving a short talk on novice track days which he organises. In addition there will be exhibits and information from suppliers based in the region.

Come along and bring a partner or friend if you wish. We are a very friendly region and you will be made most welcome.

We start the meeting at 8.00pm with a short talk from me giving details of what we have recently done and what events are coming up. Some members meet form 7.00pm for a meal or bar snack.

Garstang Golf Club is situated off the A6 at Garstang about 5 miles from Junct 32, M6 Preston. See www.garstanghotelandgolf.co.uk. There is a large well lit car park

If you need any more info please give me a call. Details in Porsche Post.

Regards

David

David,
Small idea for the new members' night. Issue a draw ticket to each new member that attends that night and have a raffle for a prize that night and tell them to keep their tickets as they will be included in the normal raffle next month.
Just a thought.
Cheers,

I'm a new member (only joined 6 months ago) and i know everyone always says "come along were reallly friendly" etc etc, and you give up the warmth of your front room and ownership of the remote to the kids/wife, and then when you get there its really clicky and people leave you you sat in the corner like billy no mates[:(][:D].........but.......they really are that friendly and they do go out of their way to make you feel welcome

......so if youre in two minds give it a go

......just get to the sandwiches before dean!!![:D][:D][:D]

You've got to be very quick to get to the sandwiches before Dean! He can smell a ham sarnie before the pig has been slaughtered.
