Monthly meeting 16th March - garstang Golf Club + Brenda Marginson - TIPEC

Hi All

The next monthly meeting at Garstang Golf Club will be on Wednesday 16th March where we will have a presentation by Lancashire Air Ambulance. The meeting will start as usual at 20.00 hours, with sandwiches provided at 21.00.

For those of you who may have met Brenda Marginson - Regional Organiser or TIPEC, I am sorry to let you know that Brenda was re-admitted to hospital last week and unfortunately passed away yesterday morning. Many of you will have met Brenda at Woodvale Rally over the years, and last year, after a long battle with illness and operations was present on her mobility scooter and looking forward to getting back to Porsche Driving later in the year. Brenda was always cheerful and enjoyed life fully. She leaves husband Harry and a son and daughter, and will be sadly missed by TIPEC and Region 18 members alike.

Sad to hear, David.

Knew her well from my 968 days 5 / 6 years ago. Very fond memories of fine BBQs together at Woodvale and regular drink and natter at Wheelton. Very much the type to get on with life to the full and cheer everyone else's up at the same time.

A fine example to us all, it goes without saying - she'll be sadly missed.
