Monthly meeting - 19th Feb + 2014 Events

The next Monthly meeting at Garstang Golf Club is on Wednesday 19th February, starting at 20.00 hours as usual. It will be another Noggin & Natter Night where we will be talking about the many future events we have planned.


We have been invited to Bowker (Ribble Valley) at Osbaldeston on the A59, near Samlesbury. This is the old Bay Horse garage which used to sell SAAB's. They now sell a range of pre-owned top end cars and always have good selection of Porsche's for sale. They are now Maserati dealers. I haven't sorted a date out with them yet but it will be either a Sunday or evening. We have also been invited to Porsche Centre Bolton, but again we haven't agreed a date. The format will be the same as the events held at Porsche Wilmslow with Region 5.

Some drives and lunches are being planned so we will need to add them to the calendar as well.

Don't forget to return you entry form for Porkers in the Trough on 29th June, to me this Wednesday or post to Sue & Mac ASAP

I have also had a request to post some 'special offers' to R18 members. If anyone wants to post their offer to R18 members please let me know and I can include that in my e-newsletter

Come, come now, fellas, don't call into question our ever-flush Maître D's membership status...[:)]

Likely, even with more computing power running this database than sent astronauts to the moon, it'll be the fact it's reached the end of its design life and is in the throes of being replaced.

Put it down to a computer glitsch while Maître D diligently raps the knuckles of whomever appropriate.

Hopefully sorted before Weds night when, if not, a quiet word can be had...
