February monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday 20th February at Garstang Golf Club, starting at 20.00 hours, prompt, where we will have Roy Mapple talking about his rally career, as well as about his son who is a champion water skier.
I addition we will have a short presentation from Jo Mawdesley who runs a new children's charity, just outside Chorley.
Why you may ask why will Jo be telling us about her charity.
Mathew Wakefield of Off Your Marks Detailing has offered a prize of a full detailing of your Porsche. We have arranged that the funds generated from ticket sales will be donated to Rainbow House, Jo Mawdesley's charity.
The prize is worth several Hundreds of Pounds
Off Your Marks Detailing Charity Raffle - Sunday 30th March
Rainbow House caters for disabled children to help themselves, through the provision of conductive education, which is a unified system of rehabilitation for children with neurological disorders like cerebral palsy and genetic conditions.
Rainbow House provides an environment where disabled children can develop skills and enjoy experiences, usually denied them, through a regime to enhance mobility, speech, self-help skills and social ability.

Tickets are £5.00 each, so please bring a cheque for £5.00 made payable to PCGB, along to February's meeting, or if you cannot come please forward your cheque to Sue MacLeod, 6 All Saints Road, Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 3AL in time to make the draw.
The draw will take place on March 19th at our monthly meeting, as Mathew will require the lucky winner's car a few days before the event which is being held on Sunday 30th March at Unit 7, Maritime Enterprise Park, off Atlas Road, Liverpool.

Starting at 10.30 - Introductions to the Off Your Marks Ltd by Mathew Wakefield and also to his business partner Eamonn ( fellow PCGB member and owner ) who owns and runs Monza Car care
- Discussion with owners on their particular vehicles and the problems they face in vehicle appearance
- Explanations on how paintwork defects are imparted by owners through incorrect practice and everyday ownership
- Demonstration on correct washing and further cleansing procedure
- Case Example - Defect analysis and then demonstration on paintwork correction
- Demonstrations (interactive) on various products available and correct usage
- Discussion and demonstration on protection and visual enhancement of paintwork.
A buffet lunch will be provided with refreshments.
It will be an informal and lighthearted meeting with plenty of chances for questions and chatting.
We will hold a charity raffle with the winner receiving a full detail including paintwork correction and application of Zymol Royale Estate Glaze? [/i][/b]

It will be necessary to have the winners car prior to the meeting with a view to finishing off infront of the members on the open day
