Our next monthly meeting is on Wednesday 20th November at Garstang Golf Club, where Fred Hindle will be organising one of his famous quizzes. As usual the meeting will start at 20.00 hours.

Sue & Mac will also be collecting bookings for the Christmas Lunch on 8th December, and collecting donations for the Annual Mega Hamper Raffle which will be drawn at our December monthly meeting on Wednesday 18th December.

Regards

Hello Folks,

Reminder to bring your glasses if you need them as there will be pictures (for those who have trouble with words!)

Questions will be General Knowledge so make sure you 'brush up' on the subject.

Make sure your phones are fully charged so that you can Google the answers.

Does anyone know what happened to the Wooden Spoon we used to give the team with the lowest number of points?

Cheers,

I was very glad to return the wooden spoon when I won it but that was at least 7 years ago as it used to be on display in my old office.

Fred, I have been asked to help with a quiz in December. Any chance I could have a copy of a couple of rounds? After we finish obviously! Thanks.

yes.....Rob presents it to himself every year after the oulton park trackday......[;)]

Rob,

Yes, no problem, you can have the questions and answers for your quiz. I'll bring a spare set of my sheets and I'll put the pictures I use in Dropbox so you can use the second round.

For a small fee I'll email them to you tomorrow. (CBD by the way)

Zeb,

You were the person I thought may have had the wooden spoon. Will the brains of the family be home from Uni?

Cheers,

she is....although whether the draw of accompanying your dad to the porsche club quiz on a rainy night in garstang is strong enough remains to be seen ....! [:D]

Fred - many thanks. Usual rates apply? [;)]

Jezza, I think Fred's on to something - you sure you not got that spoon?

No no no roberto......being from sheffield all my spoons are top quality stainless. You poor lancashire folk have to make do with the cheapo wooden stuff
