Monthly Meeting - Sunday 11 October

As it is the 2nd Sunday of the month, and it isn't either November* or Easter, then it must be the R10 Monthly Meeting !!

The Monthly Meetings are at Porsche Centre Silverstone (in Towcester for those who haven't been before [8|]) and run from 1.00pm till about 3-3.30pm.

I haven't caught up with Sue, but don't believe that we have a Speaker this month "" so it will be a social. As I and a few other R10 members are amongst the (paying) Guinea Pigs for the new "Youdrive@Porsche" Experience events, using you own car on Porsche's excellent test track at Silverstone circuit on Saturday[:)], no doubt we can give you a first hand account of what you get for your money.

I'm likely to be a little late on the day (2pm ish?) "" as my son has a football match in Luton in the morning "" but I doubt that will disappoint any of you [:D]!

The weather forecast looks good for the weekend (though Friday night looks cr@p), so I hope that many of you can make it.

[ * = November meeting is on Saturday 7 November: Fireworks & BBQ at Manor Farm, Hanslope Park.]

Hi Mike, thanks for the info, I won't make it again this month :-( my son has just gone to Uni and we're taking a few bits over to Cambridge for him...really hope to make the November one though. Will you post here how the driving experience was please, I'd be really interested how you all got on :)

If you're still coming to the Five Bells meet on Tuesday, Dawn, you can quiz Mike and I about it.

Sorry I couldn't make it today either: wanted to wash the car after yesterday (covered in drying marks) and finish installing new floodlights and sensor for the drive.
