Don't forget, this month's Monthly Meeting is a week earlier than normal, to allow us to celebrate Fireworks Night (if a day late! [8|]).
Please aim to be at the car park of The Globe Inn, in Long Street, Hanslope by 6.30 pm - we need to drive about two minutes down the road from there to a field to let off the fireworks that you bring [
]! Ideally, we would like to start at around 7.00 pm. If you arrive later try calling my mobile - 07710 564486 to track us down.
Please bring a (large) firework, not a box of fireworks each - it could take all night lighting them, and small ones don't have much "magic" in the middle of a large field..............
We are hoping to a have a few soft drinks around, but as we have no heaters, shelter or a bar, please dress appropriately and bring something warm to consume if the weather is poor. I understand that there is a hard standing to view the display, but as I've not been there personally, I can not give any guarantees!! This is a bit of an experiment, but should be good fun!
