The next meeting at the Dakota Hotel South Queensferry is Thurday 30th January. It has been a long time since the last meeting in November so hopefully we will see a good turnout. See you there about 7.30/8.00ish.

Yip, looking forward to a chat... Being quite OCD, I couldn't help with noticing the exact time you posted your message... 12:34:56 [:D]

Hello, new on here. Live in linlithgow but currently at work in China! When do you think the meets will be in February and March? I am looking to get my first Porsche in July and wouldn't mind picking a few brains! This month ( yep mind changes frequently) I am thinking of a nearly new 981 Boxster S. I had been toying with the idea of a gen 1 997 turbo? Looking at spending around £45-46k.i had a short test of a boxster S from Edi OPC and a 24hr test of a 981 Cayman S.Unfortunately, I think the Cayman will remain above what I am prepared to spend. The car is going to spend the best part of 7 months of the year sitting in my garage. The 981's were stunning and ticked all the requisite emotional boxes!I had a short test drive of a gen 1 C2S, which was nice ( would be after a Gen 2) but it didn't seem to light any fires for me -sorry if that's sacriligeous! Any thoughts on the above would be appreciated.

Good to hear you would like to come along to our meetings. They are held in the Dakota hotel, South Queensferry on the last Thursday of each month. February 27th and March 27th, around 7.30/8.00ish. We meet in the bar area and there are usually around 6 to 12 of us in attendance.

Thanks Don, I won't make the 27th Feb as that's the day I get back, if I make the Dakota that night either jet lag will kill me or the Wife will! Will try and pop along at the end of March.
