Ah, so you did - sorry! I guess they want a car they know that only they have worked on - not unlike Porsche now.

Why don't the major independents combine their resources and get an underwriter to put together a single rival scheme to the Official offering?

I think consumers would have more confidence.

[] ... that's true ... when I came off the ferry from Norway in Newcastle this summer, I was 'amused' to see a big motorway sign pointing towards "Durham and The South".
