Janspeed stainless steel exhaust[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Salisbury based performance engineering company Janspeed has unveiled three new exhaust components for the 986 Porsche Boxster. [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
Suitable for the 2.7 and 3.2-litre Boxster S variants, the most visible element is the standard fit, stainless steel performance exhaust. It's constructed of aircraft quality T304 stainless steel and feature twin backslashed 90mm centre exit tailpipes. Priced at £599.99, the unit comes with a limited lifetime warranty "" part number SS502CB.

For those wanting more performance, Janspeed has a high-flow direct replacement sports catalyst package for the Boxster, which uses free flowing internals that reduce back pressure whilst retaining MOT emissions compliance. It's priced at £529.99 "" part number SS502SC.

Janspeed's also produced a pair of high performance, equal length manifolds for the Boxster. Equalising the primary pipes length adds power and torque across the rev range, whilst the exhaust note is transformed for the better. Priced at £549.99 -- part number SM902.

According to Janspeed, if you fit the whole lot to your Boxster, back-to-back rolling road tests show a 20bhp gain on the 2.7 Boxster, with an increase of over 15lb-ft of torque.

All prices include VAT.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

Not bad prices either... (relatively!)

20 BHP - that seems a huge amount (must be mostly in the Cats).

Form an orderly queue! [:D]
