Just rcvd some e-mails from my pal at fastrak. Looks like these days have been finalised. Anybody else going?

"This year's track day calendar is nearing completion. So far we have a
Bedford day and 5 evenings, a brands GP day Open pit and several other mouth
watering venues including Spa in May.

The purpose of theses events is to get controlled track space with other
drivers that we know and trust and to spend social time with what is
becoming a ever growing group of genuinely good friends. Sean will be
organising hotels for those of us that want to enjoy the social side of
things into the evening and beyond and our resident instructor will be
current Carrera cup champion and all round good egg, Richard Westbrook.

This calendar is taking a lot of organising and represents a substantial
capital commitment to Sean and Andy so PLEASE support us before you look at
doing track days with other organisers. If we can't fill the spaces with
the good guys we will be back to the nightmare combinations of Radical
S8's/Caterham superlight R500's and poor drivers.

As you guys know, Sean, Paul, Andy and I have been working away at organizing a track day calendar for 2005.

We are now in a position to finalise the Bedford Evenings that were so popular last year.

There will be 4 events this year all on the 4 mile GT circuit, starting at 4.00pm and ending at 8.00pm with an optional Barbie at the pub down the road to round off the evening. Richard Westbrook shall be in attendance to give personal instruction and we are hoping to offer track support from a Porsche specialist such as Parr or JZ.

The dates are as follows;

22nd April (Friday)
9th June (Thurs)
1st July (Friday)
2nd Aug (Tues)

Cost has risen a little because the Johnathan Palmer play fund appears to have fallen bellow 4 billion so each event will cost £199.00 with discount of 50 if all 4 events are booked and paid for by the end of February.

As you know, because of local planning restrictions, numbers are VERY limited and since these events were so popular last year, I would suggest that you book now to ensure your places. This year, booking is much simpler, just go to www.fastrakdays.com and pay on line. Verbal commitments cannot be accepted because none of us have the time to piss about so if you ain't on the paid list you ain't coming.

There will be dates of more events at other circuits both in the UK and Europe in due course.

Here's to a fun 2005!!

Good Friday 25th March is being shared with Easytrack.

Steve"

Sundeep, you div, the evenings ARE getting lighter!!! [;)]

22nd April (Friday) `Sunset approx: 7.50pm
9th June (Thurs) Sunset approx: 9.15pm
1st July (Friday) Sunset approx: 9.20pm
2nd Aug (Tues) Sunset approx: 8.40pm (winter draws on....)

N.B. official night time is some half an hour after these times.

Drove on lights once at Bedford at dusk, quite bizarre and a real strain -didn't stay out long......my candles were being blown out....[:D]

now you can BE Larousse down the mulsanne with no feckin clue as to where you're going!

Hi Guys

I will be at all of these events with the Parr Motorsport GT3RS. If anybody would like a ride around and I have the time, I would be glad to oblige. Just look for me in the pit lane. There are only 25 cars per event so it won't be difficult to find me.

Look forward to seeing some of your beautiful 964RS's out there. If ever a car was built to track, it was that one..
