Morning coffee meet Sunday 26th July

We are organising an informal coffee meeting on the morning of Sunday 26th July.

The idea is for us to meet somewhere for coffee, with the option of doing something at the venue that might interest our spouses/partners. If successful we will try to make a coffee meet a regular event in our calendar.

The location we have chosen for the first is Ralph Court Gardens, Edwyn Ralph, Bromyard, Herefordshire HR7 4LU, which is on the B4214 between Bromyard and Tenbury Wells, so geographically central to our region.

This link to Google Maps shows the location.

The gardens and cafe first opened to the public in March 2015, and we have been there to check it out. The cafe is clean, modern and bright, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the gardens are simply stunning, consisting of 12 themed areas with names like "Italy", "Japan", "Medusa" etc. That may sound a little "Disney", but it is all done in a very adult and humorous way, and we really enjoyed them.

There is a charge to enter the gardens, £7.50 per adult, £6.50 per senior, with a 10% reduction if there are 20 or more of us. You can use the cafe without paying to go around the garden if you so wish.

The cafe and gardens open at 10.00 am, so we suggest arriving around 10.30 am.

The venue have offered reserved parking for us, so we need to give them an idea of numbers, so please let us know if you plan to come along, either via this forum (simply reply to this thread saying that you plan to come) or by email to Steve or Phil.

[strike][/strike]Well the English "summer" weather wasn't on our side, so it was really good to see around 30 members and their partners for coffee, cake and lots of chat!

A big thanks to all of you who supported the event, even in the rain the line up of cars looked impressive.

Phil, thank you for organising the visit, although the weather was poor, it did mean people stayed together and made it in to a good social meeting.
