Morning Drive

I had a very enjoyable drive through the Peak district yesterday morning with the Midland Lotus Owners Club, we left home at 0630 for a 0730 start from the A38 near Mansfield we covered 150 miles of spirited driving (very similar to 997 drives) with a stop for Bacon Cobs. Both Sons have followed Dads passion for nice cars and drive Lotus sports cars Mike with an Exige and Chris in his recently purchased Evora. The drive kept the GT3RS on its toes as these little Lotuses certainly make light work of Derbyshire backroads. A good taster for France later this week and enjoyed by both Caroline and I. Caroline decided she should start the day in the Evora before moving to the more hard core Exige saying she would spent enough time with me in France.
12 cars in total a very enjoyable morning.
Possibly something that could be arranged with the Lotus owners club in the future.

Nice morning for it Geoff [:)] and glad to see they still allow the odd interloper into their groups.[:D]

All that was on offer for me this weekend was show and shine- so mowed the grass instead!
Too much dead stuff still splattered on the front of mine from Scotland [;)] to bother with show and shine...
