Happy days! My £550 ebay special is now almost road legal. I'll tax it next month.I'm sooo looking forward to driving the beast now and so far, I'm happy with my Porsche experience.

Jobs done for MOT.

Free off seized n/s rear calliper. Had to strip it completely, but the piston and cylinder were just gummed up. A good clean up of both parts seems to have cured it.

Stripped and cleaned rear hand brake mechanism, cleaned drums and free'd off sticking handbrake ratchet.

Fitted two new rear tyres. It didn't fail the MOT on these, but they did look a bit perished.

Fitted two new wiper blades.

Had to replace faulty horn relay.

Washers didn't work due to stuck one way valves in washer pipe and a hole in the washer bottle. New bottle awaiting delivery, so I filled it up just before its retest.

I'm a very happy bunny now. [:D]

Well done fella I am well chuffed for you. Read my recents post for my MOT saga lol.

Yes, I was reading it earlier. I'm lucky to have a friendly MOT station next to my workshop that I trust to give me an honest opinion of my cars condition. I sympathise with your predicament, it seems all too common at the moment.

Good show. A new ticket for 12 months is always a good feeling!

Well done on your bargainlicious bit of pork.

Oli.
