MOT Recommendation in the NE?

Hi Porsche People,

Can anyone recommend me an MOT centre in the NE, preferably close to Hexham or Newcastle?

Does Tom Ferguson MOT?

Thanks in advance
Chris

Hi Chris
I use Addison at Newburn.
Not particularly cheap but they do seem to use common sense.

Thanks Greg,

Your literally just down the road from me, so its good to hear a local recommendation :)

Im not worried about the car passing as such, I just want it treated with care!

I use Tom Ferguson , always passes with no messing that you sometimes get from non-porsche outfits.

Thanks John,

Does Tom do the MOT directly, rather than shipping it out to a third party?

I would prefer to go with Tom as he knows the car (slightly).

Morning mate,

I think he does it in house, never said that it went external with mine but you could always check, or I could check my certificate at lunch time of you like, and he does seem to do it very sensibly. Just don't take or collect middle to late afternoon on a Friday, Felling and Gateshead are packed and mine nearly overheated!!

I have used DBM Specialist Cars in Ryton for over 20 years for all of my cars - Porsches included. Thorough and sensible. These guys know their stuff.

Recommended.
