s2 flew through her mot today,no advisorys and i had a few small jobs carried out including fitting a new gear lever =

£35 from porsche, east london and another gearbox part i got from oli,[zzcapgo],,

after a gearbox re-build and clutch just 15k these new parts have made the gearbox feel much tighter and less of a "throw",,it feels so much better and made a massive difference,,i had a look at the old gear lever and it had a lot of pinion wear but i am still suprised how better it feels,
also had my drivers side speaker box [10 speaker system] re-attached to make it 100% flush[pin was broken ] bonnet badge and gasket refitted, one tiny stone chip painted in,car driving great and needs nothing! but a wheel refurb and front seats re-connallised would be nice but not necessary,,lol,,,

if it is torn get it fixed because it will soon get worse and a bigger repair.Glue a piece of backing cloth behind/underneath the split and fill with a flexible filler to repair then redye.
Good news on the MOT.

thanks eddie,,its in hand..not enough confidence to do it myself...just whether i get it recovered or smart repaired,,,probably use the same guy who did the bolster on my r32 as apart from a few creases the seats are in very good nick and dont really justify being recovered at the moment,,,,
