I am trying to put on a display of ten cars at the motorfair to represent PCGB,

10 cars each day, with the idea of showing a range of models.

All cars need to be in good condition (no restoriation projects [:(] im afraid)

Drivers and cars will have free entry.

We will have the club gazebo there also and some free BBQ sausages !

I have a couple of nice cars already but please contact me directly on s.j.laurie@btinternet.com if you wish to attend,

You will require to be on site fro around 9am until 5pm for the full days activities,

I will be attending on the Saturday and have a few limited spaces on track also although possibly more on the day,

Kim is managing everyone on the Sunday and there may also be a couple of spaces on the Sunday for track time but cant guarantee at present.

Regards
Scott.

(ps, not limited to R1 in anyway - anyone from Region 2 or south of the border would be made most welcome)

thanks

It clashes with Spa Francorchamps Porsche days so will not manage to bring the Cup car up this time. Let us know if there are any other opportunities later in the year.

Don Alexander will have the Display passess on the Sat - and on the Sunday.

I will have the club gazebo delivered to Knockhill on Saturday morning and I will bring some displosable BBQs and a couple of dozen rolls/burgers so we can have a picnic lunchtime.

We need to remain on site until 5pm each day.

ps. I will be bringing my yellow bucket to clean car for display ! [:)]

Second track session in the wet was interesting. Great day overall, thanks Scott.
The wet session was great fun - I was finally starting to get a feel for the car...its been a long time since I've tracked a car with power brakes/steering or a roof [:D]

liking the photo - can you email hi res please - R1@porscheclubgb.com

thanks

Thanks for the food on Sat Scott and to the rest of the guys for making the effort to come along, a good attendance I think from the club even with a few callers off.

Nice to see Lachlan in the SC on the Sat as hadn't seen it much before, and also I want first refusal on his GT2 IF he ever sells it!! :D

Good to see some new faces and I'm sure you can already find some youtube video footage of the weekend. Not many pics of me with my arse ooot....so to speak but like Grieg I too am starting to get a real feel for what the car can do and with 20 laps no break fade whatsoever from the 997 PCCB's so if you're a track person and have a chnace to buy a car with them I can thoroughly recommend them......but I don't recommend following Geig for cut off's!! [:D]

Whens the next track day as I'm hooked again!!!!!????

The weather was certainly treacherous on Sunday. It was a great day, nevertheless.

Many thanks,
Varat K.
