Motorsport Wishbones...........

I have been working with Hartech to develop a stronger 'motorsport' spec wishbone & pin for the 968 (sometimes called track control arms). Some of you may know that pin failures can occur on lowered cars when used hard on track - so I did this project to enhance safety after seeing 3 damaged race cars in 2009.

I have now finished a full season on a pair of these motorsport arms in my 968 racecar, 5 other cars have been using them as well with no issues. Hartech re-manufacture them on an exchange basis and they are also approved for use in PCGB racing.

The main features are that the pin is made from very high grade steel and it has a small notch for the pin securing bolt rather than a groove all around the pin. NB as a result the pin is much more able to cope with the stress and does not bend.

We are now at the end of the development phase and Hartech or K300 can sell them direct to you or your garage.

I do have 1 pair only in my hands for a 968 that I could sell for £235 ea plus p & p -- and I would need your old ones in exchange. (NB I do not make any money out of this arrangement)
