Mountain Biking again - sorry Alan

Apologies for being off topic but this is still the easiest way to broadcast a message as I am not sure everyone looks at the general discussion forums and only Steve would find it in the concours section!

Keen to do a proper (more than 3 R10 members at a time) Woburn biking session sometime in June .

Happy to do Saturday or Sunday mornings whatever works best for all. I also have a number of none PCGB volunteers to make up numbers if needs be. I can do 12th, 13th, 19th, 26th or 27th June. Any takers ? Name your dates.

Always keen to do a pedal. [8|]

This Sunday 6th and Saturday 12th (but not Sunday 13th as I think it is Emberton and a possible late night on Sat at OPC Reading Le Mans).

The following Saturday (19th) is the 356 day at Beaulieu. I did suggest we do a night time pedal as it is probably the closest weekend to Mid-summer's day, but if there is no interest then I'll hire a bike at Bournemouth or the New Forest and spend the weekend away.[:)]

The 26th and/or the 27th are also good for me but how about we try somewhere else like Wendover?

Well here's the third r10 member....

Pretty sure I can do just about any Sat/Sun morning although prefer Sundays as er indoors is outdoors on Sunday mornings.

Come on Steve, Ed and the rest... you know you want to!

Cheers

Andy

HMmm... Like biking, but hate stretching. Bike in dry dock awaiting decision from me. Perhaps, best way forward is to just give it a quick clean-up, and hope we don;t go to Barton Le-Sh1te.

I can also grab some pedal happy people from work.

STEVE

Ps - let's fix a date...

cheeky mare... One of us has tarty silver bits in the car, and the other has threadbare carpets as a result of RACING action...

Who's kidding who ? [;)]

I know this doesn't work well for Andy but howzabout Saturday 12th to give people some notice and to avoid the BBQ on the 13th?

Lets do Woburn this time - however we have been invited by an old work colleague to do the Aston Hill circuit at Wendover. He lives just down the road from there and has offered us his house as a base for tea/toast afterwards. I will get dates from him and let you all know.

Good for me.
What time and where do you want to meet on the 12th?

Steve - have you thought about borrowing a bike from a dealer for the weekend? I'm sure there is probably a shop closer to you that will do it, but Dan at Leisure Wheels has demo bikes including top-end Specialized and he has no problem with lending them out.

Seems like a date. Meet at the sandy cross roads i.e. top of Church Road out of Woburn Sands at 9.am then.

Damn... you found me out.

Its a pretty old picture.. that's me on the right before I had the op! Damn I looked good back then!

See you Saturday 12th

Cheers

Andy

PS: If you plan to be naked on the 12th I am definately not following you!

Guys,

I live in MK and have good knowledge of tracks and trails in the woods.

Thinking of joining you lot on 12th if that's OK ??

How long do you lot stay out for ???

Glenn.

You will miss that Club Sport when it's gone man, a few months later you'll be wondering why you ever sold C5 POR. But you gotta do whatever makes you happy! See you on Sunday for sure.

Excellent pedal.
Anyone interested in doing it again this Saturday - same time, same place?

Sorry, Can't make it on Saturday morning..

Rolling road day at Jamsport in Northampton

Cheers

Andy

Bit more than that when you find you need a top end rebuild [:)] - or not in the case of your mega quick 911SC.
