After the stunning success of a fortnight ago the shout is out for R10 support in Woburn Woods on a chilly Saturday morning. Meeting up at the sandy car park area at the top of the road up from Woburn Sands at 9.00am anyone with an MTB and a few miles in the saddle is welcome.

After a staggering six riders last time can we make seven? Steve Entwhistle, Kelvin, Ravi where are you?

See you all there

No, he means the road up the hill from the double round about in Woburn Sands. Car park at the top.

I'll be there.

Cheers

Andy

Saturdays a bit difficult for me; Sundays would be better if anyone's up for that, although not for a couple of weeks though...

Anyone else coming along ?

Kelvin - just let us know when you are OK to come along and I am sure we can make a Sunday as well

Thanks for the 7am wakeup text Mr Mackie[], but as you already worked out, i couldn't make it today....I was out
on a do in Herts, and was nursing a hangover at that time[&o]

Hope you guys had fun, my weekends are looking packed until the end of the year now (getting a sneaky weeks skiing in next week !)

But hope to be out in the new year a bit....................[8|]

Guys, Santa has hinted that a proper mountain bike may be coming down my chimney at the end of the month, so finally I'll be able to join you in the mud.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced, but well made and hardwearing bike suitable for a beginner with thighs of steel :ROFLMAO: (probably quite rusty steel by now)

I used to be a keen road cyclist some years ago and have a lovely lightweight Dawes with super narrow tyres for that, but have never, ever ventured offroad.

Maybe someone could have a word in my ear at Waddesdon this weekend (over a G&T of course)

Paul what a ridiculous thing to do - fancy offering members of the R10MTB squad a drink for talking about their second favourite subject [:)], I am sure you will be inundated with advice and heavily lobbyed to join the softail crew whilst members of the 'Dark Side' [>:] try to entice you with the ways of the new fangled trickery they call full suspension.

Look forward to bending your ear and talk of lightweight titanium crank bolts ...
