Moving Climate Control

Can someone hlep please - Im getting myself a bit conusfed.....!!
I want to move my climate control from its current (standard) location to the slot above the "batwing" (presume thats the technical term for the bit with the heated seat buttons??!!)
My current central consol, from top to botttom is as follows,..
Climate control
Oddments tray
Aftermarket stereo with fold out screen (which blocks climate control when out- hence the panned move)
Another oddments tray

Question is - do I need extra bits of trim do go round each part -the CControl looks very square - and the bottom slot is longer on the top edge than at the bottom(a "trapezium"??......so if I;m swapping the existing oddments tray (currently at the bottom) for the CControl (currently at the top) , it look as if neither will fit the respective gaps......
Any ideas for part numbers if necessary....

Alex - Take a look on www.renntech.org as there is loads of info on this. I think they show the parts you need (yes, you need a trim piece) and photos of how to do it. If you can't find exactly what you need, download a copy of the parts list PDF from https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinfo/pdf/en/catalogues/E_996_KATALOG.pdf which will give you the numbers, and exploded diagrams.
