I have a CDR22 with a 6 CD changer in a pre-facelift Boxster S.
What are the options, if any to play WMA / MP3 files;
i. on CDs
ii. on an in car hard drive
iii. input from a potable MP3 player?
i. On CDs by converting the WMA/MP3 to audio CD format and burning them on CD-Rs. Best to compile from your original CDs, so they do not lose the original quality either.

Alternatively, if you have room in the centre console, Dension also do the DMP3, which is like a stereo head unit, but again plugs in the back of your CDR22. Hence the reason you need the spare room. This has a whopping 250gb disk - enough for anyone I think.
I was going to get one of these just before I ordered my new car. Unfortunately, the CDR24 in the new car is optical and this Dension unit currently doesn't support it.

I have nearly 7000 WMAs / MP3s
Install a Pro-max BN76656 Hdd into the Opti i/p of the cdr22. the octa-link7 protocol and hacked remote supports up to 10,000 discrete tracks on the MY03 car onwards
