MPH '06 and values

Got the three cars finalized for MPH at Earls Court - many thanks to all who offered to help!

I'm doing a guide to current values. Below is a rough guestimate I've come up with from scouring the smalls, please tell me if I'm miles out. (No over-inflating values just because you wish they were higher, please! [;)])

Three prices - very good condition, full history, no imminent bills etc, average, and tatty but sound.

Lux - 3k, 2k, 1.5k

S2 - 6k, 4k, 3k

Turbo/ S2 cab- 7k, 5k, 4k

Appreciating that basket cases are worth less and low-mile concourse car more.

Not far away I'd say. Perhaps a Turbo or an S2 cab is worth over a grand more than a similar condition S2 coupe though, certainly at the nice example end of the spectrum.

Paul,

which days (if any) will you be at teh Show?

I am down for Friday at least.

Paul,

which days (if any) will you be at teh Show?

I am down for Friday at least.

Definately Wednesday for set-up, and Sunday for break-down. I'm planning all the days, possibly not the Friday or Saturday if they're over-staffed! [;)]

Makes me weep to see those prices, even though I guess its true.[:(]

What a lot of car for the money though!![;)]

I was thinking, if I'd brought a new Mondeo 10 years ago instead of the S2, what would it be worth now with 120K on the clock, the answer is about 1/10 of the S2's value.

Even if I'd brought the Corrado VR6 I was interested in at the time, with an extra 120K on the clock it would still be worth substantially less than the S2.

The value still makes me weep though :-(
