Much loved 944 turbo for sale

I have a 944 turbo, 1991 model (rubber spoiler) registered first to Merlin Porche and then to me. I have owned it since 1991. It is a special equipment model. On Sorn and not been on the road for 3 years until today - Taking for annual MOT. Started every month moved up and down drive.
94,000 miles, sunroof, air con etc.
Problems with it - key wont open boot, cigarette lighter defunct and a single dinge on the bodywork. Thats it.
Black and to me quite beautiful - anyone interested ?
Its good genuine car (and owner) so I'd be looking for a good price.
Oh, It has an H1 *** number plate which cost £1000 when first bought. The car can keep it or I can re-register, price to reflect the choice.
Thank you for reading - I confirm its a private sale.

If anyone is interested I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Everyone will be interested in pics, post them up and add as much info on history, belt change etc also I suggest adding a price it usually helps to interest.

Good luck

Id be very interested to see this. Im curious about the spoiler though, as all 1990 model year onwards turbos had the new style spoiler. I would guess that it was an '89 build. Does it have Club Sport wheels or 7.5" & 9" Design 90s?

Hello 944 man, to be honest I have no idea the type of wheels. Best I take some photos and post them as soon as I can. When I bought it I was told the spoiler was changed in 1991 but this car was a late registered one - I obviously have nothing to back that up but the photos may assist.
Regards,
blackone - thats the colour

I don't think I can afford one just yet, but if something cheap were to turn up I would be interested.

I will need to buy a car in the next few months and would love for it to be another 944 or 924. I'm not entirely sure it's practical, but it would be nice "¦

A pic for the OP:

It has 7.5" & 9" Design 90 wheels which suggest that its a 1990, but a '90 would have a later type spoiler. It was S2s which received it in 1991.

Its a shame that you are having to sell it Philip, there cant be many cars still with their original owners. I am still a 944 owner, but not of the same car that I owned in 1992, unfortunately.

Simon - are you sure?? I mean you're usually spot on with this stuff, but they look like CS wheels to me?

Phil sent me some pics also, but I won't upload any without his permission.

You can tell as the spokes join the rim of the wheel on the CS, fairly flush at front, bit of dish at rear, but D90's there is a definite rim where the spokes meet.

As I say, they look like CS wheels to me.

Cant be certain as Im looking at a small picture on an iPhone screen. If theyre Fuchs wheels then its a 1989, which matches the spoiler and makes far more sense.

Apologies.

I will add, that Id regard an '89 as being more desirable. I can take or leave the '90 spoiler but love the forged wheels.
