Must have options

I have ordered a 987 boxster but have not yet decided on the spec.

What options do I need to maximise the resale value (I only plan to keep it a couple of years)?

Thanks

Andy

This is one that seems to crop up quite a bit, most people advise go with light sprinkling of nice options and don't go over board as some things will definitely not get you the money back.
Leather interior, metallic paint, bigger/nice choice wheels and stereo upgrade are the most common recommendations.
PCM is nice but I don't know about resale value (didn't interest me so I didn't ask) Sports seats are a bargain and auto air-con is pretty good too, although it should be standard along with the wind deflector.

Its down to personal choice, I spec'd mine for me and didn't pay too much attention to resale although I expect to keep mine for a similar two to three years.

Andy,
Though it will not add value you should also limit the interior and exterior colours to the popular choices to maximise the re-sale potential I think you cannot go wrong with black interior and black or silver or grey exterior.
